Mommy and Daughter Time!!!

So last night the boys literally took over the T.V. from the time we walked in the house it was Spider man this or Iron Man that. My son is obsessed with super heroes these days.


Well Bra'Cayla and Mommy not so much. I can watch one episode, but not 3 or 4. lol
I decided to spend some quality time with Bra'Cayla. We cooked dinner together and while it finished we played in our makeup!!!

Super Girly Power!!!

Last night we made Vegetable Brown rice with Mushrooms and sauteed onions with Sausage!!! Bra'Cayla cut up the mushrooms (with a butter knife and the help of mommy)! She also prepared the pan for the sausage. She placed the foil in pan and then we put it in the oven.  For the rice she helped measure and put in the pot the frozen mixed vegetables.

Bra'Cayla really liked helping me out in the kitchen.

She kept telling her dad she cooked all night. Lol!

The second part of our special time we played in makeup. Just a girly thing we do sometimes.

Ladies spend quality time with your daughters and always tell them you love them!!!!!

Luscious Lips Take#1 NYC New York Color

Hello to all my lovely Diva's and Divo's!!

Today I just wanted to take a few minutes of your time to tell you about a lip gloss that I had the privilege to review. As you know from my previous blog entries I received a VoxBox from Influenster this past December. One of the items that I received in the box was a lip gloss from NYC (New York Color)!!! I received the LIQUID Lipshine in Nude!!

This lip gloss or lipshine is great. It makes your lips look full and luscious with a wonderful glow! It goes and smooth and stays smooth. It does not feel pasty or sticky which most lip gloss do.

The applicator wand is different from most. To me it allows for full coverage of your lips.

The color I received was nude which goes great with my mocha skin tone!!! I look forward to trying their other colors.

Impressed by the imPRESS PRESS-ON Manicure Nails!!!!

So as you all know by now I was a recipient of the December VoxBox from Influenster.


The second thing I tried out of my VoxBox was the imPRESS PRESS-ON Nails. The color I received was the D100 Dancing Queen.

These nails are so pretty and bold. I immediately loved them and was ready to try them out. Now I am not really a fan of Press-On nails, but I decided to give them a try.

First I cleaned off my nails with the enclosed cleaner and then I let the nails dry.

I then started to put the nails on one by one making sure to press down firmly.

After I was done I could not believe how good the nails looked. You cannot tell that they are press on.

As you can see these nails look very good and they are lasting pretty good. Here is a picture of them from yesterday while I was at work.

So in all I love the nails. They are affordable and practical. They have 36 different choices in styles and colors. I would recommend them to any and everyone!!!!

Influenster December VoxBox

Men & Women Who Cheat. Why????

I know this is an age long question. I guess no one will ever know the real reason. I have never cheated on my special someone, but I have been cheated on before. My definition of cheating is when your partner or spouse is giving someone else attention that is inappropriate. It can be emotional or physical. People have their own definition of what cheating is, but this is mine.

I was reading this article on Truthaboutdeception.com, and they listed these situations that most commonly lead to infidelity.

• Being close or interdependent on someone other than one’s spouse
• Being around someone who is sexually interested
• Spending a lot of time one-on-one with someone else
• Not feeling close or connected to one’s spouse (e.g., feeling lonely, being upset or angry with a spouse, etc.)
• Situations that create the sense of opportunity - the feeling that one will not get caught (e.g., meeting someone in private, out of town trips, etc.).
• Situations involving alcohol or drugs

Now, I can see how these situations can lead to someone cheating once, but what happens when a person continues to cheat over and over and over again. Now tell me! What is the reason that they cheat?

In my opinion, so many people take their commitments and promises very lightly. They don’t have any respect for their partner or spouse. They throw around the word love so loosely. But do they really love that person. I think not, maybe a strong like.
